Uncover hidden treasures through collage. How many times have you walked past an inner courtyard, a Modernist chimney or an old street lamp without even noticing it? We live in a city full of fascinating details that the hustle and bustle of everyday life renders invisible. We’re offering you a creative break to slow down and learn to see Barcelona through new eyes. A unique collage workshop led by the talented @musasbarcelona The canvas for your artwork will be an A4 sheet of 100% recycled Kronospan particle board. A surface with a history of its own that is transformed to bring to life old street lamps, wrought-iron balconies and century-old doors. What will we do? We’ll play with overlapping, tearing and layering using photographs of overlooked corners, textures and architectural features of the city. And when we’re done! We’ll enjoy a final toast with wine from our “El Sauceral” vineyard. You don’t need any previous experience or to bring any materials! About this event

Explore speciality coffee and learn different cold brew techniques. A workshop designed to help you discover a different way to enjoy coffee during the warmer months, alongside the team at KISSA COFFEE ROASTERY. During the session, we’ll give a brief introduction to the world of speciality coffee, explaining what sets it apart from conventional coffee and how origin, processing and roasting influence the flavour in the cup. We’ll delve into the world of cold drinks, preparing various recipes live and inviting participants to taste them. The workshop includes: An introduction to speciality coffee. An explanation of cold brew and its main characteristics. Preparing Japanese Iced Coffee using a V60. Tasting of three different speciality coffees, to discover how the same method can bring out completely different flavour profiles. Making cold milk foam to prepare a unique Iced Latte, which is also easy to recreate at home. As a final touch, each participant will receive a sample of freshly ground coffee, specially prepared for making Cold Brew at home so they can repeat the experience after the event. About this event

Reinterpret Gaudí’s architecture through collage. For this workshop, Mariana and Ale, the founders of Musas, a creative haven where you can explore your creativity through collage, will join us. Musas offers a creative experience inspired by the architecture of Antoni Gaudí. Using a pre-printed template inspired by architectural elements such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, and other iconic works, participants will create a unique and personal collage. Materials are included. During the workshop, brief insights will be shared on Gaudí’s work, the history of collage as an artistic language, and various visual composition techniques to guide the creative process. This event is aimed at architects, interior designers, and professionals in the contract sector. Attendance is free, but space is limited, so please register to secure your spot. We invite you to the second demonstration session, “From Concept to Image: Visual AI Applied to Architecture and Interior Design”, where we will see, through practical examples, how to generate photorealistic images from scratch. We will explore how visual AI is transforming creative processes in architecture and interior design through real-world use cases and practical demonstrations: • Generating photorealistic images from scratch. • Editing specific areas of a space whilst maintaining visual consistency. • Working from sketches or plans. • Testing different materials, furniture and lighting options. • Integrating these tools into the actual workflow of architects and interior designers. • Refreshments and networking at the end. The first Sunday in May – Mother’s Day – is fast approaching, and at the Kronospan Design Center we want to celebrate it with a special experience in collaboration with GIGI Botanic Curators: a workshop on creating floral arrangements where botany and emotion come together.
