Fagerhult panel talk: an Evening with Henrik Clausen

About this event

In partnership with Fagerhult, we’re hosting a special “Pecha Kucha” style evening with Henrik Clausen, Head of Research. We would be delighted if you could join us as we bring together experts in the world of illumination and viticulture for an evening of exploration. Segmented into 3 sections, HENRIK CLAUSEN, Fagerhult’s Director Research & Education, dives into the latest insights of Circadian Lighting, principles and processes and how to measure and evaluate the circadian effectiveness of a light source before concluding with a real-life example of how to calculate the optimum light levels for different applications. In between, a professional sommelier, guides us through a carefully curated wine tasting. RSVP at designcenter@kronospan.co.uk

Color Your Design

About this event

Color changes perceptions, defines spaces and influences the way we experience design. At the Bucharest Design Festival, we open the doors of a new event in the #DesignYour series: Design Your Color - an experience dedicated to the relationship between color, material and light. Through the Color by Kronospan collection, we explore how decorative furniture tiles can transform the atmosphere of a space, along with the chromatic universe proposed by Little Greene, a premium British brand recognized for the depth and authenticity of its colors. Together with Lyset Lighting, we will also discover how light influences the perception of color, texture and emotion of an interior. On this occasion, the façade of the Kronospan Design Center transforms into a spectacular mural of over 10 linear meters, a visual intervention dedicated to color, creativity and freedom of expression in design. We invite architects, designers, creatives, and the entire KDC community to join us for an evening where we celebrate inspiration, materials, the dialogue between light and color, and the power of design to transform spaces into experiences.

Engineered living spaces design event

About this event

We are discovering the future of material-focused design together. We are bringing together students from Istanbul University Faculty of Forestry at a design event hosted at Kronospan Design Center Istanbul. Throughout the event, we will share an inspiring experience focused on sustainable material usage, selecting the right products, and creating solutions tailored to living spaces. Students will have the opportunity to explore different textures, colors, and surface alternatives while discovering the impact of materials on the design process. With the “From concept to material” approach, we will experience together how ideas come to life through the right materials.

About this event

📅 May 14 | 4:00 PM ☕ Networking & Coffee: 3:00 PM–4:00 PM Architects, designers, furniture manufacturers, and beyond — we invite you to an event dedicated to design, production, and curved forms that completely transform the perception of furniture and space. We rarely have the opportunity to gather in one place and openly discuss, in a practical and technical way, what truly goes into producing spectacular curved forms and integrating them correctly into real-world projects. If you want to see these impressive curved elements up close, touch them, understand how they are made, and discover the real possibilities they offer in design, this is the place to be. We will discuss: * HPL — and the way it can elevate a home, an interior, or an entire concept * real production limits and solutions * materials and their applicability * how we transform a spectacular concept into an executable product * the collaboration between designer, architect, and manufacturer It’s an excellent opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, meet new people, and leave with fresh insights and perspectives on the industry. Because, in the end, if we walk away having learned something new, then the event has achieved its purpose. See you on May 14.
