About this event

Join us for a private view and guided tour of Studio Sahil’s Transforming Glass with Sand, part of the London Design Festival 2026. The exhibition brings together eight years of research exploring glass, its origins, histories and relationship with natural materials. Studio Sahil, founded by Rezzan Hasoglu, is an award-winning London design studio exploring craft, intangible cultural heritage and material innovation. The exhibition presents hand-blown glass infused with sands sourced from locations including Iceland, Dubai and Türkiye. Each piece captures a unique geography, with heat and transformation creating distinctive patterns, textures and forms. Discover how sand, glass and human intervention come together to create one-of-a-kind works. Studio Sahil exhibition is available to view throughout the entirety of the London Design Festival, 12.09–20.09. RSVP via designcenter@kronospan.co.uk

About this event

Uncover hidden treasures through collage. How many times have you walked past an inner courtyard, a Modernist chimney or an old street lamp without even noticing it? We live in a city full of fascinating details that the hustle and bustle of everyday life renders invisible. We’re offering you a creative break to slow down and learn to see Barcelona through new eyes. A unique collage workshop led by the talented @musasbarcelona The canvas for your artwork will be an A4 sheet of 100% recycled Kronospan particle board. A surface with a history of its own that is transformed to bring to life old street lamps, wrought-iron balconies and century-old doors. What will we do? We’ll play with overlapping, tearing and layering using photographs of overlooked corners, textures and architectural features of the city. And when we’re done! We’ll enjoy a final toast with wine from our “El Sauceral” vineyard. You don’t need any previous experience or to bring any materials! We’ll provide everything you need so you can simply come along to create, experiment and take your finished artwork home with you. REGISTRATION: https://barcelonaenfragmentos.eventbrite.es
