Join renowned architect Tannaz Oroumchi in her creative workshop: Making Cities: Drawing, Space, Architecture This workshop explores drawing as the primary act of architecture - not representation, but construction. Using original city drawings of London, Paris, New York, Istanbul and beyond, the session examines why cities look the way they do, how space is shaped by culture, power, material and movement, and how architectural ideas are formed long before a building exists. The first Sunday in May – Mother’s Day – is fast approaching, and at the Kronospan Design Center we want to celebrate it with a special experience in collaboration with GIGI Botanic Curators: a workshop on creating floral arrangements where botany and emotion come together. Join us for the opening evening of our new showcase in the Design Center exhibition space, proudly presenting the glass work of Studio Sahil Discover the material language of glass at this special opening evening with Studio Sahil, an award-winning London-based design studio founded by Rezzan Hasoglu. Working at the intersection of craft, cultural heritage and material innovation, the studio is best known for its distinctive hand-blown glassware infused with sand sourced from landscapes around the world- each piece capturing unique textures, patterns and stories. Alongside glass, Studio Sahil’s wider practice spans jewellery, textiles and sculptural installations created in collaboration with global partners Rezzan Hasoglu, a TEDx speaker and member of the Homo Faber Guide, brings her research-driven approach to both design and education. Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we design, visualize, and present architectural and interior design projects. But… what can AI actually be used for today in an architecture or design firm? We invite you to the live demonstration session where we’ll explore real-world applications in project ideation, visualization, and presentation, including practical examples using Kronospan materials and finishes to generate finish variations, design changes, and direct project implementations. The session will be led by Pablo González-Sabariegos, an architect and specialist in artificial intelligence applied to architecture, architectural visualization, and professional workflows. With over 10 years of experience in residential, renovation, and interior design projects, he is also the founder of IAparaArquitectos and a LinkedIn Top Voice in Artificial Intelligence—a recognition awarded by the platform itself for his impact and outreach in this field. During the session, we will demonstrate how to integrate these tools into the actual workflow of a studio, from the conceptual phase through to the client presentation, with a fully practical approach tailored to the profession.
